According to the decision of the PRB31 batch meeting held by the Plant Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of Myanmar, the effective ingredients containing chlorpyrifos will be banned from July 1, 2021.
The deadline for processing import licenses involving the effective ingredients is December 31, 2020.
From July 1, 2021, the registration, preparation and sub-packaging, sales and use of products containing the active ingredient are prohibited.
In addition, the meeting also discussed the prohibition of registration of dozens of other products.
